Created as the subject of a tutorial on the design of “bespoke typefaces” for the fine people at Advanced Photoshop.
The inspiration for this design came from the sound of baroque pop, an appropriately nebulous genre merging the traditional indie rock sound with an array of unconventional instruments. Baroquen explores these ideas in the form of a deliberately fractured and highly stylized alphabet.
