To me, the numbers mean nothing. When it comes to what is good for me, might not be good for you, nor good for all. Its about what information do you put out regularly and is it worth the time and effort (I need to put together a cool math formula for this).

When I read blogs I consider if its something I should add to my reader as something to subscribe too. I don't subscribe just to do so. The content of what is being delivered has to sell me.

That being said, not everything is going to be on task, so I have to make these decisions knowing and accepting that information.

This also goes into play with whatever I consider posting to the web. Its a moment of pause in some cases, I know I am influential in some of my circles. So when I post something will that make me lose a follower? Perhaps. Come back to haunt me? Maybe. But we have to accept to live life as we output. I practice transparency as much as I can be. I would rather own up to a mistake than try to cover it up.
